Iowa will be OK in the wake of the decision to deny Drew Ott a fifth season of eligibility after he played through a debilitating elbow injury for a month last year, then went down with a season-ending ACL tear.
Ott will be fine, too, regardless of his landing spot this month in the NFL draft -- if he's selected at all. The delay in ruling on his medical-hardship appeal robbed him of time to work his way into the plans of prospective NFL employers this winter and spring.
As for the NCAA, I'm not so sure.
