Nebraska responded to claims Wednesday that it scrubbed its weight room of performance records set by players under former coaching regimes with a statement from Assistant Athletic Director Boyd Epley that all marks would be restored.
Former receiver Kenny Bell, before the release of the statement, unleashed a series of tweets upon learning of the move. He wrote that weight-room records from the past decade had been erased because of the former players’ training methods. Bell played from 2011 to 2014 and holds the Nebraska career records in receptions and receiving yardage.
Today i found out anybody that trained in the weight room in the past 10 years has been removed from the walls.
