Jabrill Peppers’ 88-yard sprint to cap a rivalry win in East Lansing this weekend was strange for a few reasons. It’s not every day you see a defense score on a two-point conversion, nor do you see a team trailing by seven try to go to two just for the sake of scratching out a little smaller margin of defeat.
Even more surprising, given how much of the season has gone right for No. 2 Michigan, is that Peppers and rest of his starting defense were still on the field for what turned out to be the final play of the game.
