Former Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook threw more than 60 passes to a full complement of his outgoing Spartan teammates Wednesday afternoon at their Pro Day in East Lansing. Had the program’s three NFL-bound offensive linemen stayed on the field for the skill players’ portion of the day, they would have only been a couple players shy of fielding an entire 11-man lineup.
It wasn’t lost on Cook, who aired out more than a dozen deep balls to prove to scouts that his arm was back to full strength, and the rest of that group that they likely wouldn’t have another chance to get all of them together on the field again.
