Four-star running back Jaelen Gill has committed to Ohio State, giving the squad one of the most explosive offensive players in the 2018 class.

James Grega Jr. of Scout.com relayed the news of the player's decision and noted he played high school ball just 20 minutes away from Ohio State's campus at Westerville South High School.

Gill is considered the sixth-best player at his position and No. 69 player in the 2018 class, per Scout.com.

While Gill is taller than an average running back at 6'1", 180 pounds, he uses his size to excel not only out of the backfield but also at receiver.
