Somewhere between the closing stretch of Iowa’s perfect regular season and its lone loss -- in memorable fashion as College Football Playoff-bound Michigan State won the Big Ten championship game 16-13 with a late, 22-play drive -- even most of the naysayers bought in on Iowa as legitimate in 2015.
Moving into 2016 and beyond, that’s a different story.
