Iowa signed four receivers in its 2017 class: Max Cooper (Waukesha, Wisconsin), Henry Marchese (Lincolnshire, Illinois), Ihmir Smith-Marsette (Newark, New Jersey) and Brandon Smith (Lake Cormorant, Mississippi). Several schools wanted Smith-Marsette to play cornerback, but he will get his shot at receiver in Iowa City.
