After all, Mark Dantonio had to build most everything from the ground up -- so most teams could stand to follow his lead. In the 30 years prior to his arrival, Michigan State had just one 10-win season. In the past six years, they've had five. From 1967 until Dantonio's arrival, the Spartans boasted just three conference titles. Since 2010, they've added another three -- and have finished the past three seasons ranked within the top-six.
