Connor Cook could make the difference for Michigan State

Michigan State is preparing to sprint straight forward into a buzzsaw on Saturday.

The No. 7 Spartans must find somehow, some way to do what's proving almost impossible these days: score against Michigan’s defense. The No. 12 Wolverines are playing like the 1985 Chicago Bears of late, pitching three straight shutouts and leading the FBS by allowing just 6.3 points per game for the season.

It won’t be easy for Michigan State, especially with an offensive line that’s being pieced together week to week because of injuries. But Mark Dantonio does have one ace up his sleeve.
