Penn State RB Saquon Barkley: We’ve been waiting for a real, breakout rushing performance from the Nittany Lions’ star sophomore, and he delivered in a 38-14 win over Maryland. Barkley ran for a career-best 202 yards on 31 carries. His day included a 45-yard touchdown run just before halftime.
Iowa's defense: The Hawkeyes once again struggled to find their offensive footing on the road, but their defense kept the team in position to win. Iowa held Minnesota to just 268 total yards, caused three turnovers and held on during the final drive for a 14-7 victory.
