Honoring the best and brightest stars from another interesting Saturday in the Big Ten.
Illinois running back Ke'Shawn Vaughn: With senior Josh Ferguson out for most of the past four games because of a shoulder injury, Vaughn became the Illini's workhorse. Yet it was his performance with Ferguson back in the lineup Saturday that was most impressive. The freshman from Tennessee rushed 16 times for a career-high 180 yards with two touchdowns to help his team dominate Purdue 48-14. Ferguson added 133 yards rushing with a touchdown catch, and Illinois may have just found a stellar 1-2 tailback tandem for the stretch run.
