Friday marked the quarterfinal round of the Big Ten tournament at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., with four spots in Saturday's semifinals on the line.
Several nationally ranked teams entered the day with a chance to come one step closer to a Big Ten title, including Purdue, Wisconsin and Maryland.
