The Big Ten regular-season standings say that the Purdue Boilermakers were the best team in the conference.
Not only did they win the conference outright, they finished with a two-game advantage over Wisconsin and Maryland and closed the year with a strong road victory over Northwestern.
Logic says that Purdue should also be able to win the conference tournament and go into the NCAA tournament the following week with a head of steam.
However, reeling off three consecutive wins may not be so easy for the 13th-ranked Boilermakers.
