Badgers believe they can beat the elite, and might get another chance to prove it

MADISON, Wis. -- Sojourn Shelton pressed through a hallway entrance as midnight approached late Saturday night, the hoodie of a black Wisconsin Badgers sweatshirt pulled over his head. He spoke in hushed tones, lamenting a performance he felt was good enough to win but had fallen short once more.

Shelton, a four-year starting cornerback at Wisconsin, was tired after a long, physical battle against No. 2 Ohio State that ended with Buckeyes players celebrating a 30-23 overtime victory inside Camp Randall Stadium. But more than that, he was tired of having the same postgame conversation with reporters.
