COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Sam Hubbard has dealt with the responsibility before, and the Ohio State defensive end doesn’t bother pretending like it’s not a big deal to replace a potential No. 1 overall draft pick.
But even if he’s only been needed to fill Joey Bosa's shoes temporarily before, Hubbard already has proven he has the tools to step into that role and provide the kind of production the Buckeyes have come to expect from that position.
Now all the redshirt sophomore has to do is show that he can do it full-time basis, a challenge that this spring has been all but impossible to ignore.
