NORMAN, Okla. –- Early in Saturday's game at Oklahoma, Ohio State decided to go for it on fourth-and-1. Curtis Samuel took a handoff and sprinted to his left
As the play first developed, it looked like Samuel might have some trouble getting around the edge for that first down. But after a couple of perimeter blocks and some confusion by the Sooners' safeties, Samuel had turned the corner. He ran untouched for a 36-yard touchdown, giving the Buckeyes a lead they would never relinquish in a 45-24 victory.
In some ways, that play summed up Ohio State to this point.
