Alert: Leon Jacobs Helped Off the Field

Wisconsin's first day in pads was costly for the Badgers. Of the five players going down with injuries Wednesday, none appeared more serious than junior linebacker Leon Jacobs being carried off the field.

MADISON - The first day in full pads turned out to be costly for the University of Wisconsin.

Junior inside linebacker Leon Jacobs suffered an apparent right leg injury during the early portion of Wisconsin’s third fall practice Wednesday at Camp Randall Stadium.

The injury occurred in strength vs. strength drills against junior tailback Corey Clement, who appeared to start getting some leverage before Jacobs buckled to the turf.
