A disappointing season for the University of Minnesota basketball team took another unfortunate turn Monday when three players were reportedly suspended for a posting on social media.
According to Dave Campbell and Jon Krawczynski of the Associated Press (via Yahoo Sports), "A person with knowledge of the situation tells the Associated Press three Minnesota men's basketball players were suspended after an illicit video appeared on one of their social media accounts."
Campbell and Krawczynski noted "the clip was posted Friday on Kevin Dorsey's Instagram and Twitter feeds before being disabled about a half-hour later. Dorsey and fellow guards Nate Mason and Dupree McBrayer were benched for Sunday's loss at Illinois.
