Bluiett joins his teammate Edmond Sumner in taking home an award this week, as the freshman guard picked up the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week award while the sophomore guard Bluiett hauled in Player of the Week honors.

The Indianapolis native Bluiett shined this past week scoring 23 points in Xavier's win over Providence on Wednesday. Then, Bluiett chipped in 13 in the Musketeers' road victory over Georgetown on Saturday afternoon to pick up an average of 23.
