NEW YORK – Xavier forward Naji Marshall has been named BIG EAST Player of the Week and Georgetown forward Josh LeBlanc has been selected BIG EAST Freshman of the Week. Marshall led the Musketeers to a conference road win while LeBlanc had a double-double in a home court victory.

Naji Marshall, Xavier, F, So. – Marshall led Xavier to a win in its conference opener, a 74-65 decision at DePaul. The sophomore scored a game-high 19 points, grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds, dished four assists and helped the Musketeers close the game with a 19-4 run.
