Life isn’t so easy all the time, and the Xavier Musketeers realized that Monday night.
A mere three days after their effortless 101-49 victory over the Morehead State Eagles, the Musketeers were tested in a big way at Cintas Center. The Rider Broncs of the MAAC had no fear in Cincinnati, playing them toughly while the Musketeers had their own self-inflicted wounds. Despite that, Xavier salvaged the night and walked away with an 101-75 victory.
As usual, X was led by senior Trevon Bluiett. The All-Big East First Teamer scored a game-high 26 points while shooting 8-14 from the field.
