The #13 Creighton Bluejays (17-5, 13-4) look to push their win streak to five straight games Saturday evening when they take on the Xavier Musketeers (12-5, 5-5) in Cincinnati.
The teams’ first meeting of the season saw Creighton come away with a 66-61 victory on December 23. Xavier got out to a big lead in the early goings before Creighton stormed back for the win behind a balanced scoring attack that saw four Bluejays record double-digit scoring.
Creighton has been on a roll for the past month. After dropping back to back games to Butler and Providence near the end of January, the Bluejays have gone 7-1, with just a loss to Georgetown on their record.
