Villanova Wildcats guard Jalen Brunson got plenty of attention on Friday out in his homeland. The Lincolnshire, Illinois native and Stevenson High School alum threw out the first pitch prior to the Chicago Cubs’ encounter with the Milwaukee Brewers at Wrigley Field on Friday afternoon on the North Side.
Three days after those events took place we finally have video of Brunson’s pitch. The video comes from none other than his head coach, Jay Wright, who provided the goods on Monday afternoon.
Brunson passed the lone test when it comes to first pitches: Don’t bounce the ball, so calling this a rip-roaring success would be right on the money.
