The Big East announced its preseason Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and all-conference teams on Tuesday morning.
Collin Gillespie, who earned a share of the 2020-21 Big East Player of the Year honor with teammate Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Seton Hall’s Sandro Mamukelashvili, was named the preseason Big East Player of the Year.
Georgetown’s Aminu Mohammed, a five-star prospect coming out of high school, was named the preseason Big East Freshman of the Year.
