Villanova Wildcats guard Jalen Brunson named a finalist for the Bob Cousy Award

Villanova Wildcats guard Jalen Brunson was named as a finalist for the 2017 Bob Cousy Award on Monday morning.

Brunson, a sophomore, has been one of the best floor generals in the Big East Conference this year so it comes as no surprise that he’s receiving national recognition. The Stevenson High School alum is averaging 14.2 points and 4.2 assists per game while shooting 54.5 percent from the field, a serious uptick from his marks in his terrific freshman year.

As the above list would entail, Brunson is among the nation’s elite.
