Ohio's for Musketeers and for teams who beat the No. 1 team in the country, too.
Top 5 foes collided Wednesday night in Cincinnati and the Xavier Musketeers emerged victorious.
A winning effort was engineered by the play of Myles Davis, J.P. Macura and Edmond Sumner. The trio combined for 54 points to put the No. 5 ranked Musketeers over the top against the No. 1 ranked Villanova Wildcats, 90-83. After jabbing and trading blows for much of the first half, Xavier would pull away late in the second half with flashy plays and dunks galore, spearheading their way to a 25-3 record on the season.
