Villanova leads Marquette in their all-time series history 20-9. Most recently, ‘Nova has won their last nine appearances against Marquette. Interestingly, the last time Marquette defeated Villanova occurred consecutively: the Golden Eagles edged out the Wildcats twice in January of 2011.

This will be the second meeting for Villanova and Marquette this January, and the Golden Eagles are sporting home court advantage.
