NEW YORK – Georgetown’s Agata Mikos and Aditya Vashistha of St. John’s have been recognized as the latest BIG EAST Tennis Female and Male Athlete of the Week. Mikos compiled a 3-1 weekend for the Hoyas while Vashistha took down a ranked opponent in the Red Storm’s trip out west.

Vashistha went 2-0 at No. 1 singles , including a victory over #36 Filip Malbasic of No. 25 Arizona, 6-1, 6-4. The junior defeated Cal Poly’s Antoine Noel in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3, to close out the weekend.
