UConn bulldozes Central Connecticut, 102-75

The UConn Huskies were winners in their first game back in the Big East.

The Huskies bulldozed Central Connecticut 102-75 on Wednesday. The victory gave UConn their fourth win in a row in a season opener and improved Dan Hurley’s record at UConn in season openers to 3-0. They are also 19-1 in their last 20 season openers, an awfully strong mark to say the very least.

UConn grabbed the win thanks to a potent effort on offense. The Huskies shot over 55 percent from the floor and went 10-for-26 from beyond the arc. They also went 72.
