NEW YORK – Seton Hall guard Myles Powell has been named BIG EAST Player of the Week and Villanova guard Justin Moore has been tabbed BIG EAST Freshman of the Week. Powell led the Pirates to a pair of league victories and Moore continued his steady production for the Wildcats in a 1-1 week.

Myles Powell, Seton Hall, G, Sr. – Powell led Seton Hall to a 2-0 week by averaging 21.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.5 steals. He returned from a two-game absence by scoring 18 of his 27 points in the second half in a 74-66 win at DePaul.
