CHICAGO — Seton Hall opened with 12 unanswered points and never looked back en route to beating Butler 83-57 in Big East women’s championship tournament quarterfinal play on Saturday at Wintrust Arena.

Four players scored in double figures as the No. 4 seed Pirates (19-11) advanced to Sunday’s semifinals against top seed DePaul.

Guard Alexis Lewis scored a team-high 20 points, including five 3 pointers. Guard Lauren Park-Lane had 17 points, forward Shadeen Samuels collected 17 points and 14 rebounds while Mya Jackson had 13 points off the bench.
