Despite helping his high school team to a 26-3 record his senior year, Tyrese Martin didn’t feel satisfied.
William Allen High School (Pa.) did enjoy an impressive regular season, but a disappointing first round exit in the PIAA 6A state playoffs left a stinging blow.
The loss wasn’t the only reason why he felt a lack of satisfaction.
"Just discussing it with my mom and seeing how I finished up last summer and this year, I feel like I deserve more, and that I can play higher than what I’ve been recruited,” said Martin, at the Under Armour Association back in April.
