Rider vs. Providence final score: Bentil powers Friars to 11-1 start with win over Broncs

With just two games left until the BIG EAST season begins for the Providence College Friars, Ed Cooley's bunch was without their cornerstone player again Saturday night. Kris Dunn, battling an illness, was not dressed to play against the Rider Broncs, but that didn't stop the Friars from continuing their winning ways.

Powered by the play of Ben Bentil and Rodney Bullock, the Providence College Friars picked up their 11th win of the year to the tune of 73-65. The win pushes them to an 11-1 start to the season, which marks the best start in program history since Eric Murdock and the 1988-89 team began the year 12-0.
