Georgetown Hoyas junior forward Isaac Copeland will be transferring from the program.
The news of Copeland’s looming departure comes to us from Gene Wang of The Washington Post.
Copeland becomes the second player in the Big East Conference to transfer in the last few days after St. John’s center Yankuba Sima announced his intentions last week. Copeland is also the second Hoya to transfer in the last few months after Paul White decided to head to Oregon in the summer.
Like Sima, Copeland will be transferring following the conclusion of this semester.
Isaac Copeland came to Georgetown with high expectations as a four-star recruit in their heralded 2014 class that ranked at the top of the Big East and seventh in the country.
