NEW YORK – Providence forward Alpha Diallo has been named BIG EAST Player of the Week after posting two double-doubles and some torrid shooting percentages against Seton Hall and at St. John’s. Villanova forward Jeremiah Robinson-Earl has been selected BIG EAST Freshman of the Week after helping the Wildcats to a 2-0 week. It is Robinson-Earl’s sixth weekly freshman honor this season.

Alpha Diallo, Providence, F, Sr. – Diallo averaged 27.0 points and 13.5 rebounds while shooting 63.3 percent from the field, 5-of-5 from 3-point range and 9-of-11 from the foul line.
