Phillip Wheeler is starting to gain even more attention in the Big East.
He already had an earlier offer from the Seton Hall Pirates, from last spring, but over the last couple of days he’s had both the St. John’s Red Storm and Providence Friars knocking on his door.
On Tuesday, he announced that he received an offer from Providence. Less than 24 hours later, he shared that he also got one from St. John’s.
Wheeler, a 2020 forward that stands in at 6-foot-7 and 190 pounds, currently plays at the Ranney School, a New Jersey basketball powerhouse.
