The Marquette Golden Eagles won their ninth game in a row and 10th overall on the season in an 84-66 rout over the Presbyterian Blue Hose on Sunday afternoon.
Despite meager efforts shooting the Golden Eagles were fueled by a solid effort in the second half in which the team shot 83.3 percent from the free throw line and 50.0 percent from the field in the second half.
Five MU players finished in double figures with the dynamic duo of Henry Ellenson and Luke Fischer each dropping 17 points in the game. Fischer got to the line 12 times on Sunday and made good on his opportunities, flushing in nine free throws on the day.
