The St. John’s Red Storm may have put a stamp on their resume with their victory over the Villanova Wildcats this past Sunday. But every game is important, and they’ll be heading into a hostile environment on Wednesday night, as they’ll face the Providence Friars at The Dunk.
Shamorie Ponds and the Johnnies have won three of their last four including the aforementioned victory against Villanova. That run also includes a W against the Marquette Golden Eagles, their second win of the season against the high-flying Golden Eagles. Sandwiched in there is a win against the Butler Bulldogs but, also, perhaps coincidentally a loss to Providence.
