NEW YORK – Georgetown diver Riley Fujioka and Villanova diver Michael Perra have been chosen as this week’s BIG EAST Swimming and Diving Female and Male Athletes of the Week, respectively. Both competitors swept the 1- and 3-meter diving events at their meets during the past week.
The Hoyas fell in a close meet at Drexel, while the Wildcat men slipped up against La Salle. Providence men and women split versus Holy Cross over the weekend with the men capturing a win at home. Both Seton Hall squads defeated Monmouth on the road last week, while the Villanova women secured wins over La Salle and Richmond.
