No. 1 Seed Connecticut Wins Eighth Straight #BIGEASTfh Championship Title

HAMDEN, Conn. – Top-seed Connecticut captured its eighth-straight title in the BIG EAST Field Hockey Championship presented by Jeep with a 2-0 win against No. 18 Old Dominion on Sunday afternoon at the Quinnipiac Field Hockey Stadium.

The NCAA committee will announce the tournament selections during the Selection Show on NCAA.com at 10 p.m. ET on Sunday.

BIG EAST Championship Most Outstanding Player Svea Boker scored a pair of third quarter goals to lift the Huskies to its 18th championship title. Boker’s eventual game-winning goal came in the 37th minute.
