The Georgetown Hoyas improved to 2-0 for the first time since 2014-15 as their mid-major demolition tour brought the Mount Saint Mary’s Mountaineers to the Capital One Center.
It didn’t go well for the Mount, as Georgetown cruised to a 102-68 victory.
Five Hoyas scored in double-digits, which is always good to see. Jessie Govan led the way with 20 points (and 14 rebounds, his second straight double-double), as he’s benefitted the most from the coaching change/new offense through two games. Freshman Jahvon Blair had 19 points of his own. JaMarko Pickett and Kaleb Johnson each had 14 and Jagan Mosley had 13.
