The BIG EAST New Year's Marathon is set to begin at 11 a.m. ET on Saturday and run until midnight. DePaul at Seton Hall start the set of five games from the Prudential Center and the Marathon will end with Creighton hosting No. 16/16 Villanova at 10 p.m. All five games will be televised on FS1.
In between, it's No. 9/10 Butler and No. 6/6 Xavier battlling at the Cintas Center at 1 p.m., St. John's at Providence at 3:30, and Marquette at Georgetown at 5:30 p.m.
With league openers played on Dec. 30-31, the 1-0 teams want to be feeling good with a 2-0 start and the losing squads want to avoid a 0-2 beginning.
