MBB Minute – Seton Hall Wins at Butler; Three Home Teams Nail Down Victories

For the first time in BIG EAST history, Seton Hall is 5-0 in league play after a 48-point second half helped propel the Pirates to a 78-70 win at Butler on Wednesday. The Hall, ranked 18th in both major polls this week, also extended its winning streak to seven games. Myles Powell scored a game-high 29 points and Romaro Gill added 17 points, four rebounds and four blocked shots. The Bulldogs (15-2), ranked fifth in the polls, were led by Kamar Baldwin’s 19 points and six assists. Jordan Tucker contributed 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Georgetown (12-6) placed five players in double figures, led by Omer Yurtseven, in an 83-80 win against Creighton.
