Seton Hall, Xavier and Marquette made it 3-0 for road teams on Saturday afternoon, then home-standing Villanova won at night.
Seton Hall edged Georgetown 68-66 in overtime at Verizon Center on the strength of Angel Delgado’s 26 points and 17 rebounds and Desi Rodriguez’s winning basket with just over a minute to play in the extra period. The double-double was Delgado’s 40th of his career. L.J. Peak led Georgetown with 18 points and Akoy Agau added seven points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots.
Xavier and Creighton also played a two-point game with the visiting Musketeers rallying for an 82-80 win.
