On Tuesday, Kris Dunn's dramatic shot gave Providence a win at Crieghton and Trevon Bluiett's career scoring night helped power Xavier to victory against DePaul.
After a slow first half, Dunn scored 16 of his game-high 20 points after intermission, including a jumper as time expired to give the Friars a 50-48 win over the Bluejays. Ben Bentil added 13 points and eight rebounds. Toby Hegner came off the bench to pace Creighton with 11 points.
Bluiett scored 19 of his career-high 24 points in the first half when the Musketeers built a 41-31 and pulled away in the second half.
