DePaul used a 48-24 rebounding edge to help knock off No. 11/11 Providence 77-70 on Tuesday, while Kelan Martin helped Butler get back on track at Hinkle Fieldhouse in an 87-76 win over Georgetown.
DePaul got help from the reliable combo of Myke Henry and Billy Garrett Jr. Henry posted his third double-double of the season with 27 points and 11 rebounds. Garrett Jr. added 16 points and four assists. It was the highest ranked team DePaul had defeated since beating No. 5/5 Kansas on Dec. 2, 2006.
Kris Dunn had 14 points and eight rebounds.
