MBB Minute -- Butler Prevails In OT At Georgetown On Busy Saturday

Coming off a win on Wednesday against No. 1 Villanova, No. 18 Butler knew a visit to Georgetown would be a challenge. The game went into overtime, but the Bulldogs left Verizon Center with an 85-76 victory. Butler freshman Kamar Baldwin scored a collegiate-high 16 points and Kelan Martin helped with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Three other Bulldogs had 11 points. Georgetown was led by L.J. Peak’s 21 points and freshman Jagan Mosely’s 20 points.

No. 16/15 Xavier stayed in first place in the league standings at 3-0 with a 97-82 win over St. John’s. Edmond Sumner led six players in double figures with 20 points.
