After taking down Harvard in their NIT opener earlier in the week, Marquette kept rolling Sunday, with a 101-92 win over the Oregon Ducks to advance to the third round!
Andrew Rowsey led the way with 29 points, 16 of which came in the first quarter to get the Golden Eagles off to a hot start. As you might expect, Markus Howard got his points as well, finishing the night with 16.
Much like Harvard, Oregon didn’t seem particularly interested in traveling halfway across the country to play a game against an offense like Marquette’s.
