Marquette Athletic Director Bill Scholl and head coach Steve Wojciechowski will be holding a meeting Thursday to discuss how they can possibly get the Butler Bulldogs on their schedule a few more times this year. After pummeling Butler 73-57 Wednesday night, the Golden Eagles have now won just two of their last seven – both wins coming against the Bulldogs.
Though 16 points is a comfortable margin, the game was even more one-sided than the score suggests. The game got so ugly that Campbell Donovan and Mike Parker both saw their first minutes of the season for Butler, with Parker earning a large ovation after sinking a three-pointer in the final minutes.
