Golden Eagles win second outdoor title, Wildcats claim 11th trophy despite stormy conditions at Spire Institute.
GENEVA, Ohio – Teams endured lightning delays and pouring rain at Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio, on the final day of the 2018 BIG EAST Outdoor Track and Field Championships presented by Jeep, but in the end Marquette men and Villanova women finished as champions. The Golden Eagles finished with 230.50 points, the highest total since MU won its first title in 2016 (246), while the Wildcats posted 196 points, most since 2016.
